Peace Millennium Scholarship Foundation awards 1 million won per person to university students with excellent academic performance and exemplary behavior
On the 28th, the Pyeongan Millennium Scholarship Foundation held a scholarship ceremony for scholarship students in Pyeongtaek and Anseong areas in the conference room on the second floor of the Pyeongtaek branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office. The award ceremony was attended by Yoo Do-yoon, head of the Pyeongtaek branch of Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, Lee Bo-young, chairman of the Pyeongan Millennium Scholarship Foundation, and 26 scholars.
Since these scholarship recipients come from difficult backgrounds, they are evaluated based on their grades and recommended by the presidents of six universities in the region (Pyeongtaek University, Korea Polytechnic University, Dae, Chung-Ang University, Hankyung National University, and Duwon University of Technology) who are role models for others.
They received a scholarship of 1 million won (a total of 26 million won) per person.
Lee Bo-young, chairman of the Pyeongan Millennium Scholarship Foundation, said, "I hope that students in a difficult environment will not lose their courage and focus on their studies to grow into great talents."
Meanwhile, the Pyeongan Millennium Scholarship Foundation decided to confirm and implement the scholarship amount at its regular general meeting at 134 million won, an increase of 25 million won from last year.
